I'd buy high street but often I see things I like and they aren't leather and when they are, buying vintage designer saves me money.My favourite bag was a Barbour canvas and leather fishing bag. I bought it myself for secondary school, it travelled with me to school in Canada, to college and uni and in total lasted 26 years before disintegrating this year after being used to cart books and shopping and stuff for the beach.
Well the Bond Street assumption is weird! I'm in Edinburgh and see plenty of genuine bags.Who said just because they are designer they have to be bling? What an odd statement, you're obviously looking at the wrong designers.
